Craster Reach Reviews

My friends and I had a wonderful stay with our four legged friend. The cottage had everything we could have wished for and provided a perfect base for us to put the world to rights and enjoy some bracing coastal walks. The ONLY thing missing was the 1000th piece of the jigsawwhich, one of my friends, is still quite traumatised by!!

A fabulous retreat the views from the top bedroom lived up to expectations. The house was very well provided, especially in the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed all the house martins swooping around us on the patios! Great location near the harbour and the Pub where e enjoyed a lovely meal. Also a very handy base for exploring the rest of Nortumberland. Not for publishing the bread bin and cafetiere were not cleaned. It wasn't a five star review due to the building works being carried out behind the house not your fault of course!
Craster is beautiful and its a pity that its full of holiday properties owned by Catch the Breeze Very expensive so expected better really. Cobwebs in the downstairs toilet and a dirty kitchen worktop where the draining rack sits. Zero privacy in the second floor bedroom as there are huge velux windows that everyone can see into when its dark. Positives beautiful clean comfy bedding and hot water. Cornwall Mach 2 though

We had a lovely stay. This is the second time weve stayed at Craster Reach. Compared to our last stay, the property wasnt quite as clean as before, the floors didnt appear to have been vaccinated very thoroughly lots of dust and hair from previous visitors I ran around with the hoover this on our first day and cleaned this all up There was also a general smell of dog in the living room that we didnt manage to clear during our stay despite the fabreeze air freshener being provided. The facilities are fantastic, beds are really comfortable and the views absolutely stunning and we loved the outdoor space at the front. The oven could probably do with a couple more shelves to make it more useful and the back garden would be nicer with a few planters, pots or plants.
