Driftwood, Crantock

Driftwood WOW! We had the most amazing 2 weeks staying in this gorgeous house and have just booked to go back again next summer. 1010 for cleanliness and the owners have gone above and beyond to ensure you have a everything you need for a relaxing and stress free stay. The hot tub was maintained and checked every few days and there was also the option of having a midstay clean as we were staying for 2 weeks. Weve been to Crantock many times before and this house has undoubtedly been the best yet. Cant wait to return next year!

Our second visit to Driftwood was just as wonderful as the first. The property was spotless, modern, and equipped with absolutely everything needed for a comfortable weeklong stay the kitchen was especially well stocked. Its also incredibly childfriendly, with stair gates, a cot, and a high chair all available. The secure and beautifully maintained garden was perfect for our Labrador, who had the best time and honestly didnt want to come home! The hot tub was clean, well maintained, and checked during our stay, and we loved relaxing in it every evening. Jo was incredibly organised and provided all the information we needed well in advance of our arrival. Thank you for the welcome gifts and all the thoughtful touches the chocolates, luxury soaps on the towels, and robes for after the hot tub made the stay feel extra special. Crantock Beach is only a 1012 minute walk away, where youll find a lovely coffee shop and surf hire. We also visited both village pubs, the local shop, and Jam Jar Kitchen, which serves the best pizza ever all within easy walking distance. Well definitely be booking again soon. The property was very clean, well maintained, and had excellent facilities. The only problem for me, as a back sufferer, was that the bed was too soft. However, this is not a major issue and certainly wont stop me from returning. It also stated at the time of booking that a welcome pack was included, but we did not receive this.

Our two week stay at Driftwood was fantastic. The accommodation was really lovely and clean and couldn't have wished for any more. The location of the property is perfect a 10 min walk to the beautiful beach of Crantock and the Albion inn and the Jam Jar were really good. We also walked to the bowgie Inn which has the beast views. We would totally recommend driftwood 5 stars

We had a fantastic stay at Driftwood, the property is beautiful and has everything you will need. The house was clean, well equipped and the hot tub is a nice luxury! Also in a great location, we loved the old Albion pub in the village, the food there is amazing. Would definitely recommend staying at Driftwood!!

Driftwood turned out to be a great choice for our September visit to Crantock. Lovely house very well presented, fresh and clean. The house is well stocked with kitchen items for all our needs. Top quality linen and bath sheets that are actually big enough. Also a nice added touch of bathrobes for use after the lovely hot tub which we made plenty use of. A great stay. Would highly recommend

This holiday accommodation had everything. My wife remarked that all other accommodations in the future will surely be spoilt for her now she has stayed somewhere so comfortable! The beds and bedding were divinely comfortable. The master bed felt very grand and like a special treat! Showers were brilliant, kitchen was well resourced and living room was very comfortable. Everything was well put together and felt very modern and stylish. Chocolates and soap on the bed, starter pack of dishwasher tablets and dish soap, hot tub serviced pre and mid stay, and the most delicious scones in the fridge on arrival. We felt very welcome and that everything had been thought of. We did feel very conscious of the next door neighbours when using the outside areas who were locals and who we didnt want to disturb with early morninglate evening hot tubbing but the pay off for being in a quiet area and not being disturbed by other holiday goers ourselves was a fair compromise! The location is just wonderful we cant get enough of Crantock and its wonderful beach. We ate at the Old Albion, the Jam Jar, the Bowgie and the Off Beat Bar, enjoyed warm pastries from the village shop and ice creams from Flotsam on the beach. We ran the mile to the Bowgie in the mornings to run off all that food! and marvelled at the view. We would happily return to this accommodation it was the icing on the cake of a wonderful family break!

Weve stayed at Driftwood twice now and it never disappoints. The house is always spotless, welcoming and has everything you could need a home from home. Its perfectly located for the beach. Joanna is a fantastic host thoughtful, responsive and always a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely return.

We booked Driftwood for a family holiday to celebrate my husbands birthday. Just before we went I received an email from the owner recommending local places to eat etc all of which we tried and were fabulous. Driftwood had everything we needed. Extremely comfortable, well furnished and the kitcehn was fully stocked with everything you need. Lovely welcome tray of treats. Everything has been thought of down to a BBQ, windbreak and beach toys in the garage. Perfect location as only a 1km walk to Crantock beach and an easy drive to other places. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

We found driftwood to be clean, comfortable and very well equipped especially the kitchen, it was the best equipped kitchen in any holiday rental we have stayed. For us the location is perfect with 2 pubs, shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk, beach 1015 min and further beaches and restaurants a few minutes drive or 2030 min walk. Would I recommend, absolutely, would we go again, definitely.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Driftwood. The house was exactly as it looks in the photos. It was very clean, the beds were very comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed the hot tub and this was cleaned before we arrived and also part way through our stay. It is in an ideal location we visited many of the local beaches, and towns such as St Ives, Mawgan Porth, Newquay. Driftwood is the perfect base for a family holiday and we would definitely return.

We had a great stay at the property. It is beautifully decorated & very comfortable inside with a great garden and the hot tub is a great addition! The house has everything you might need in the kitchen etc. it is in a perfect location, just a short walk to the pubs in crantock village & the beach also. All communication was answered promptly. We will definitely be back next year!

This is a stunning accommodation in a perfect location. The house is beautifully decorated, with everything we could possibly need to make our stay so comfortable. The owner has thought of everything, with a well stocked kitchen, lots of household appliances & a very clean outside area. The hot tub was great to get into at the end of a fun packed day and then relax in the fluffy robes. We will definitely return.

What a lovely holiday home ! Home from home feels, fantastic location and beautiful beach on your door step. Couldnt ask for a better home to stay at , everything you need is there. The house was in a good position , a 1015 minute walk to the beach , 2 great pubs . The owner was really helpful and responded to messages straight away .The hot tub was cleaned mid week and there was everything we needed at the house ..would highly recommend x

The house was absolutely gorgeous with amenities of such a high level, we really enjoyed our stay and the house was in a great area too, short walk to the beach, shop and local pubs. Our girls enjoyed the hot tub alot also. One slight issue was the curtains in the bedrooms could be blackout as during summer time was very light early morning. Thankyou for a fabulous stay, we will definitely stay again if back in the area.

A lovely property that was very clean throughout and has everything you need for your stay. Plenty of kitchen equipment & crockery. Comfy lounge area. The outside space was very clean and a lovely sunny spot. Hot tub was great. Highly recommended and hope to return.

A really comfortable house in a perfect location. Loved being able to walk to the coast path and beach and location is very central for exploring north and south of Crantock. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is really well stocked with several sets of plates, mugs, glasses etc. A good sized parking space and a very welcome hot tub to enjoy at the end of the day. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a fabulous stay at Driftwood, a beautiful house in a fabulous location. The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard and we wanted for nothing, everything has been thought of and the welcome pack was lovely. Crantock village is few minutes walk away with a great local shoppost office and two fab dog friendly pubs that both do great food. We would highly recommend Driftwood and we will definitely be returning.

Amazing location, 10 minute walk to Crantock Beach. House is decorated lovely and has everything you could need and more. Only issue Ive had is getting some clothing items back that were left behind in error. Its been over three weeks since I notified the property management company immediately after our arrival home, constant chasing, voicemails left and I have still not received a phone call or email with the tracking information or the items back. Very disappointing after a lovely week and difficult to keep chasing when you have a newborn baby. If someone could please contact me regarding this it would be appreciated.
