Garsdale Foot, Sedbergh

Fantastic location & beautiful surroundings. Garsdale Foot was well equipped, very comfortable & perfect for our 2 familys of 4 visiting for a few days. The games barn was also a big hit!

We had an amazing weekend at Garsdale Foot, and everything was just right. Rob and Julie provided ample information, responded promptly to questions and left no stone unturned the hamper they provided in the kitchen upon arrival was incredibly generous. The house was immaculate and comfortable, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything you could hope to need, and the bedrooms were comfy and spacious. Not to mention the setting, with beautiful panoramic views, wildlife and easy access 10 min drive to Sedbergh. I would 100 recommend staying at Garsdale Foot.

This property is beautiful, the setting,facilities and the comfy beds, all of it,I cannot fault it at all. Rob and Julie are so attentive and put such an effort in to making your stay amazing. We arrived on christmas eve, the house was warm and so inviting on arrival, decorated for christmas with a real christmas tree in the dining room, really beautiful. The kitchen was extremely well equipped to cook a christmas dinner in. I would highly recommend this property. We will be returning. Has to be one of the best we have stayed in.

Absolutely loved our stay at Garsdale foot! The house was immaculate, had fantastic facilities and a very well received hamper. Location is remote which is what we were looking for but is something to consider if youre looking at booking! Fabulous scenery, amazing house, exactly what we wanted! Would highly recommend

Such a lovely cottage with absolutely everything you could wish for. The thoughtfulness of the owner is apparent everywhere you turn. The kitchen is better equipped than my own home! Wonderful rural setting with surrounding fields and beautiful vistas from the windows. Really appreciated the hamper which was a lovely touch after such a long drive on arrival day. Thank you!

A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay with beautiful countryside for walkers and plenty of interesting places to visit. The owners had thought of everything to make the house as comfortable as possible and were very considerate and welcoming without intruding. We would all definitely return.

Lovely calming place with everything you need, comfy beds and squishy duvets, hot showers and comfy lounge Would definitely cone back to recharge batteries !

A beautiful well kept property. Great for those who want a relaxing break with fabulous scenery. Comfortable beds and bedding for a decent nights sleep. The owners provided plenty of home comforts that were much appreciated by our party of 7 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. We had been prewarned about the water from the peat fells, with its brownish tint, so werent put off. The kids even found it funny to bath in. However we did use bottled water for drinking. All in all it was a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage, full of character. The peaceful setting made it the perfect getaway, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We would happily return!
