Lodge Reviews

The lodge was modern and clean in an ideal location . Great for our 2 dogs with an enclosed courtyard and a large sandy beach within 5 minutes walk.
Very nice accommodation, ideal for couples. Close to beaches and amenities.
From arrival we were really impressed by the layout and amenities within the lodge. The lodge was clean to a high standard and was like home from home. The hot tub was great and felt private and Jane was very helpful and on hand straight away if we had a question. Would highly recommended for a stay due to the location and the lodge itself and hopefully will return again.

Absolutely stunning lodge. Very clean inside. Everything you need for while your away. The courtyard is fully enclosed and safe for your dog. We had a brilliant stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you
Arrived early and caravan was open and allowed entry. First impressions were good with nice sofa large sky go tv and nice bedroom with tv.Open plan living room and kitchen however far too many cupboards taking up room ...counted 14 cupboards in living room with nothing in them Negatives Lack of worktops in kitchen...no plug in sink lack of plugs ..only in one place Bathroom...stand over shower is nothing but a bath with shower hose attachment..not much good when 6'4 and want a shower....no wet wall or shower curtain. Hot tub....dated and the steps are situated at wrong bit as putting foot on slope of seat when entering...hot tub needs turned round Barking dogs a regular night and early morning. Pick ups and other vanscars coming into owners yard on regular times reducing privacy. Enclosed garden is good for dog however no grass it is just tar and tiles. Note There is no washing machine and tumble dryer and when I contacted owner re this on second day my texts were ignored until leaving day....owners did not make any effort to communicate or confirm all was ok during stay which was odd as caravan is in their back garden

Found this a good place to stay. It's secure outdoor area away from the road and passing traffic made it ideal for our dog. The closeness of the beach and dunes made it ideal for ourselves and pet.
Well equipped holiday home in a great location, great for pets, great
Lodge is lovely, clean and cosy. Short walk into talacre ,with massive shop that sells pretty much everything.Couple of nice pubs.great bakery too we loved the pasties. Then just over a ramp ,walk to the beach and iconic lighthouse. Lodge is a great base , with lots to do and see within a short drive. Hot tub was great to soak in later. Close the gate and your enclosed in so our dog was able to roam freerelax outside after her long walks of the day. Lodge was well equipped, although we didnt find a corkscrew, but luckily had another bottle which was screwtop. The only downside we found was the dogs in an outhouse next door. They barked and howled sporadically throughout the nights. With them being literally just the other side of the fence it sounded like they were in the room with you.My wife had to use earplugs to get any sleep at all, making her ears sore. To sum up Accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. local area and amenities are great. The only downside is next doors dogs at night. If you are a heavy sleeper, then this wouldnt be such a problem.
