Ninky Nonk Reviews

Lovely secluded property in a quiet country lane, close enough to walk to local amenities. Loads of local walks and we got a warm welcome from all the locals we met.
What a wonderful property, hot tub is marvellous. Very clean, fantastic bed and bathroom. Modern spacious kitchen, table and chairs handily placed to allow easy preparation and placement of meals. Ample cutlery, pans and utensils provided. A very helpful host, nothing too much trouble and proud to say they built the property to a high standard themselves. Very secluded and peaceful setting, waking up to bird song and cattle bellowing is so calming. Loads of activities and places to visit in the area, lovely pub at the end if the lane. Farm ship a mile away and would recomend a visit to The Lazy Lobster for any seafood lovers, only a short car journey away in Chew Magna, but loads of country inns to choose from. I would book this property sooner rather than later as it will be fully occupied in the future.

A great place we'd love to go back to. Nice quality and finish, comfortable and big enough for two. Hot tub, fire pit and BBQ are excellent outdoor facilities. It was quite accessible, being without stairs and having step free access to the shower despite it not being an adapted property. There are no handles in the bathroom, the gravel drive isn't perfect, and the parking not ideal for those with wheelchairs, but it's good enough for an amputee like myself. There being no toaster, I found myself creamating bread under the grill a few times!
Such a hidden gem of a property. Well laid out with everything you need for a short break. Hot tub was amazing. Have to mention The Red Lion Pub as well so friendly and welcoming with the bonus of allowing dogs. I will definitely look to book this again. Nice few treats on arrival as well. Free EV charging was a nice touch with the contribution to the local charity. My only negative is parking only 3 spaces for all the properties.Thank you for a great stay.

We had a very enjoyable week, accommodation was delightful, very clean, decor was lovely and bed very soft and comfortable. Situated in an ideal area, we enjoyed being so close to the lakes, ideal walking for us and our two small dogs. The hot tub was a real treat at the end of the day.0

Suited us perfectly for a short stay visiting friends in Bath. Very clean and had everything we needed. Dog friendly aspect and proximity to Chew Valley Lake for walks were ideal. Owners very proactive in making contact in case of any issues. Would recommend.

Just enough for two. Spotless. Well equipped. Comfortable and well situated for visiting bath, Bristol, Gloucester and Weston super mare. Which we did. Hot tub just what we needed after lots of walking.
Hi guys, we had the perfect stay, ninky nonk is in a perfect location, with cheddar gorge, Wookey hole, stonehenge, longleat, Bath etc all nearby, we had a fantastic meal at the local pub the Red Lion, the villagers were very friendly, we were surprised to be visited by the horses directly outside the front gate on out 1st morning. The only slight downside was the parking, as we had a car parked across us, so we were struggling to get out numerous times, but apart from that, its an absolutely perfect place and will definitely be booking next yr, possibly nimber 7 hopefully
The accommodation was spotless, but for us when we have stayed at other places a little starter pack would have been nice like tea , coffee or even treats for the dog, to go and do a what we call a shop for the weekend , it wasn't on our list we wasn't expecting a freebie but after a long journey I wasn't expecting to go and do a trip around the local store.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Ninky Nonk which is in an area we have visited many times. Having Chew Valley lake just moments from the accommodation was ideal for walking the dog and the owners had equipped it with everything we needed.

Ninky Nonk was a great accomodation for us. We found it because it had an EV charge point but also liked that it had solar and heat pump. The property is great for exploring the Chew Valley area, Bath, Cheddar etc. Would thoroughly recommend the property .
Honestly one of the best little breaks we have done in the UK. A great location with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Extremely clean and great communication from the hosts. Will recommend.

Booked last minute and had a lovely 4 nights stay. Home was lovely and clean, hosts very welcoming and location was great. The only thing we missed was an outdoor table and chairs to eat our meals.
Fantastic accommodation! So comfortable and clean and had everything you need for a short break away. Beautiful scenery also straight out of the front door! We will definitely be returning at some point soon!

Ninky Nonk was perfect for what we needed. It was extremely clean and very comfy. Well equipped with everything youd need. Although youd need to bring a hair dryer Nice walks around the area, pub at the end of the road and a spar shop, both a 510 min walking distance. Bath just 2030 minutes away. We did park and ride all very easy. Cheddar Gorge about 45mins drive. We would stay again.
