Noflash Malpal Reviews

Fantastic stay. Lovely building, modern with all the necessities to a very high standard. Great central but peaceful location. Highly recommended.
Great holiday unit! Very clean and comfortable! Really comfortable super king size bed this was our reason for booking! Nice private enclosed patio garden with hot tub.

Lovely peaceful base for walking and exploring the area.

Such an amazing place to stay. We really enjoyed ourselves and the village was so friendly. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub and the bed was super comfortable and we missed it when we came home. We will definitely be back.
The accomodation was exactly as described and pictured and the comms from the hosts before and during our trip were spot on. We had a lovely short stay and also lucked out with the weather which was an added bonus! Lots to do around the area, Chew Lake is a short walk drive away and the Manor Farm tea shop was a highlight for Sunday Brunch too. Bishop Sutton has a convenience store and pub about 500m from the property for quick snack runs! Slightly limited parking meant a chat with our neighbours over access to the EV charging point which blocked by their petrol SUVs but all sorted amicably, with the bonus the charging is also free though a charitable contribution is always welcome.
Very comfortable and well presented accommodation. Had everything we needed for a relaxing get away. I usually struggle to sleep when away due to having a bad back but I found the bed very comfy and was much higher quality than elsewhere, I had no issues when staying here. I would highly recommend and look forward to going again sometime in the future especially as its a nice get away with the dogs.

The accommodation is bigger than we expected from the pictures on Sykes website. The bed is extra large & sooo comfortable & the sofa too was relaxing & comfortable. Kitchen is a good size with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots & pans but was surprised no toaster but managed using the grill. Hot tub was very warm & welcoming & I was glad I packed two costumes for both early morning & evening dips. I would 100 recommend this accommodation but here are the better ifs there was no cleaning materials so we tried to clean using the packet of disinfectant floor wipes I always take with me but felt we hadnt left as found. No hoover & nothing to clean the outside tiles. Please can I suggest a bucket & mop, bottle of disinfectant so people can at least clean after their pets properly. I hope youll have us back after my comment we really did enjoy ourselves just felt we let you down with the cleaning.
The property was open and bright, but private. We werent overlooked so felt very comfortable making use of the hot tub in the evenings. The field across the road not the horse paddock was perfect for letting the dogs stretch their legs a little first thing in the morning before we went off exploring for the day. The bed was comfortable, the underfloor heating gave the place a nice ambient temperature throughout, and the facilities were good. The only thing that would have been a helpful addition is some kitchen paper. We bought some and left it there for the next people. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would happily go back! Also, side note the food at the village pub is superb! Highly recommend
We had a wonderful stay, really lovely property and super friendly hosts. Hot tub a bonus! Totally recommend

Everything was great. Perfect for the dog and a chilled and relaxed few days away. Couple of things that would have added to the stay..... list of dog friendly places to visit, mop and bucket and toaster Would highly recommend Owners were lovely and accommodating.
Great stay. Appreciated the fizz.
This is a great property with fantastic facilities, I would thoroughly recommend staying here, we both enjoyed our stay, very clean, modern, well equipped kitchen and private patio area with hot tub, a real sun trap even in September. A few bits to note for potential holiday makers, if you take a dog there is nowhere at the property to walk your dog in a grassy area, you need to walk along a single track road and join the lake walk, there is a small patch of fake grass approx 2mx1m on the gravel area, I only note this because in the description it says the property is set in acres of ground, so I expected to be able to walk the dog in the grounds to go to the toilet. The other 2 areas are the hot tub is set to 37 degrees, I did ask if we could turn it up but unfortunately was informed that they are unable to change this due to HSE restrictions, which was disappointing as this was a bit cool for us and from the information I can find it should be set between 3738 with a max 40 on the HSE website, I do also understand that some people may prefer the lower 37 degree temp, but have always had the option to adjust on previous rentals. Lastly the shower is very low pressure water form the rainfall, it looks fantastic but practically does not live up to the looks. having said this I have given 5 stars because it is still a great property and I would recommend, I just wanted to give an honest overall feedback.
Nice property, we was not allocated the right one though, we booked the left side property and got the right side one . The layout was not the same as the one we originally booked so was very disappointed. No normal tv channels we had to use a account! No phone signal. Not dog friendly no where to walk our dogs The patio was so enclosed NO VIEW to look out on. No sound insulation between the property's we could hear the neighbours as if they was in our property. We came home early ,we booked for 10 days and came home after 5 . We could not get comfortable on the red seating.

The property was larger than expected, very clean, well equipped and laid out and so comfortable. It was lovely to receive a small welcome pack on arrival of milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of fizz! and the hot tub was great after long walks in the beautiful countryside. Jon and Sarah were very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning for a future visit.
Absolutely stunning! !! My partner and myself attending the NOFLASH. And it did not disappoint. Simply loved it. And will 100 be returning. Sarah & Jon were always at hand if needed anything. Such lovely people and would highly recommend. Can't wait to return.
The accommodation was beautiful, modern and spotless. The attention to detail was amazing. The hosts were very welcoming, even leaving little gestures like milk, coffee and prosecco. Hot tub was clean and well maintained. The location was so peaceful and relaxing, with picturesque walks surrounding it. We would highly recommend staying here and will most certainly be back again! Thank you Whatley Holidays.
