Nice, clean and comfortable cottage, would stay there again. Very close to the town centre.
A bit tight parking at times but property located a short walk from the action and was well equiped and homely.
An absolute gem! We loved our stay at Nutkin cottage and will definitely be back again! This cottage is so well stocked with absolutely everything you could ever need! House was spotless, bed were comfortable and the location was perfect!

Absolutely loved everything about Nutkin Cottage, it was spotlessly clean, well equipped and just perfect in every way, we come to Bowness many times throughout the year and the place we usually stay was no longer being let, we chose Nutkin Cottage and booked our holidays in for the year hoping it would be as good as it looked, it was actually much much more and I wish we had found it sooner, the owners have thought of everything and added lovely touches love the childrens books from my childhood we really didnt want to come home and are so happy to be returning in 6 weeks
Lovely property, perfect location for exploring Bowness and Windemere by foot. Parking right outside the door, didn't need to move the car during our stay which was great. Very comfortable home, plenty of local information available in the property, clean, everything you needed there for a perfect break. We will definitely be back to Nutkin Cottage in the future.
Walking into Nutkin cottage was like walking in to a big, warm, welcoming hug. It was beautiful, cosy, clean and comfortable. It was a proper home from home with everything you needed. Brilliant location on a quiet road but with everything within walking distance. We had a wonderful Christmas at Nutkin. So much so that we have booked again for next December.

The property was as listed. It looked good and the furnishes were of good quality. The settees in the front room were getting a bit sad. Looked good but very soft and needed extra cushions to make them comfortable . The hand rail on the stairs was coming away at the top of the stairs. All extremely clean . The cooker was fantastic the fridge both very clean. It was a shame that no one had noticed the kitchen tap was leaking and that there was a build up of black mildew around the mixer tap, draining boards and Belfast sink .
Lovely quirky cottage in a great location, a short walk in to the centre of Bowness, great to be able to use a car pass & park right outside the property, we didn't use the car for the duration of our stay. Lovely comfortable beds. We appreciate the back yard can be used a lot by pets but cleaning with disinfectant could stop the odours. The owner was fantastic as we had an issue with Netflix's the first evening, he responded straight away and got us sorted which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend & would stay again.
Great break away weather was great so made it more special. The cottage was comfortable and everything you could possibly need was there. Beautiful part of the country and we just love it. Thanks again for a great stay Jean and Crawford
This cottage is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of Bowness and Windermere. It is tastefully decorated and clean. All information that might be required is in a folder inside including a parking permit for the street . Be aware it is a very narrow street but we had no problem parking . A bit of a shame no welcome pack was provided .

A beautiful clean little cottage in the perfect place. Warm quiet and very comfortable. Our little dog didn't want to leave! . Would highly recommend this little place
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It was spotlessly clean with really good facilities. Our only criticism is that cottage looks tired and needs updating. Upholstery as in sofas and chairs really need replacing or at the very least, cleaning. Saying all this, we would probably return.

A lovely house, just as described. Everything we could possibly need was available, including walking guides, books and games. The location was ideal for Bowness centre, close to the CoOp, the Cinema and a really nice pizza place. We had a fab few days, thanks very much.
A perfect, well kept cottage in a prime location for exploring the Lake Windermere area and beyond. Very comfortable and welcoming property with everything needed to enjoy a great family break. Would definitely look to return to Nutkin Cottage for future trips to the Lake District.
Lovely cottage in a great location if you want to be in Bowness. The parking permit was a great help. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the shower was brilliant. We also loved having a real fire. We found the beds too soft.

Excellent accommodation. Cosy and homely. Nothing missing. No issues with parking nearby thanks also to permit provided by cottage. During stay one item broke curtain rail, rapid response and fix in <24hr. Can't fault it for anything. Would love to come back.

Nutkin cottage really feels like home from home. It is very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped with high end appliances. The owners have obviously given a lot of thought to holiday cottage experience, providing so many little touches which made our stay even more perfect. The cottage is also perfectly placed for exploring this incredible area. Parking can be a little tricky at times but it wasnt a huge problem for us. We really cant recommend Nutkin cottage enough.

Lovely little house. Clean comfortable. It would of been nice to have a radio in the dining Come 2nd living room. But overall a great house would definitely stay there again as it was in a great location.

Excellent holiday in a wonderful cottage, extremely cosy and very convenient. Parking only an issue once, and we managed the local pay and display car park without issue on that occasion. We hope to return!

Lovely wee cottage, everything was thought of and we wanted for nothing. The bed are super comfy and parking was never an issue. So many shops, restaurants and bars right on the doorstep and about 10 minute walk to the pier for ferry.

Wonderful cottage. Just one small detail which did not affect our stay is the scaffolding at the front of the cottage which should have been removed as noted when we arrived was still up when we left. Everything else was perfect

Exactly as described. Nice terrace property on a quiet side street with resident parking permit provided so no parking issues. Great location, in fact a perfect location. End of street is a Italian, chinese and Pizzaria, down the street a little further and youre in heart of town. Property was very clean, comfortable, quiet great sleep and a very powerful shower above bath. Gas fire in front lounge and log burner in back dining room with a cosy two seater couch and high back chair plus dining table. We had a nice afternoon in there with fire on, relaxing and playing games lots of family games provided. Overall we had a great stay and I really could not fault it, perfect for a short break, self catering familyparty of four. Thanks you
Great place, very spacious and kitchen very well supplied. Garden was perfect for kids including a toddler as enclosed and flat.
Lovely stay at Nutkin Cottage well equipped and cosy with everything we needed. Beautifully decorated we loved the nod to Beatrix Potter which was very thoughtful. Location was handy for the local area and parking was never a problem with a street parking permit provided. The Lake District is so beautiful and the cottage makes the ideal base for a week.
