Samphire House Reviews

A very nice house perfect for a group. A luxury for each bedroom to have its own bathroom! The kitchendiningliving room looks out over the garden, which is quite small, but very pretty and has a table for eating. It's useful to have the second living room too. We managed to park 2 smallish cars in the front garden. The house is very well located for the centre of Southwold and the beach. A minor note we couldn't get the coffee machine to work. It may need descaling? The only negative comment is that it was difficult to contact Best of Suffolk. I had a simple query would all the beds be made up, which I sent on WhatsApp as requested by BofS. The next day I got a message telling me to send the query again on WhatsApp or text or ring so that was a waste of time. I then had to wait on the phone for 15mins before I could speak to someone.
I booked the house for my wife's 80th birthday, with my sons and grandchildren staying for the celebration, for which it was perfect. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Having four bathrooms was beneficial. The back garden had all day sun, ideal for sitting out to socialise.
The cottage was lovely and cosy especially as it was snowy weather. Would definitely recommend and rebook. Xx
Samphire house was very comfortable and clean. It is very well equipped and we enjoyed staying there. The only suggestion would be a better instruction book rather than just the instruction manuals . Apart from that a perfect house. Thank you for having us

This is a lovely property and even managed to sit outside. Of note the double bed mattress downstairs could do with replacing as my mother found it extremely difficult to get out of bed. The king mattress upstairs I gotta get me one of those. Thank you for replacing the TV in the front lounge New sofa in family area is comfy as well. Furniture however is a bit old in the lounge, less furniture is more if you know what I mean just a little bit more modern.

Samphire House was perfect for our little family reunion. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and my mother age 87 was very comfortable in her ground floor room with ensuite shower. The house is so comfortable, with space for everyone to congregate in the kitchenliving room and a separate cosy sitting room for those who wanted a quieter space to relax. It has a very wellstocked kitchen, a lovely garden and an enviable location, just off the high street with parking for two cars. We enjoyed fabulous early morning walks on the beach and shopping and eating out in lovely Southwold. It is also ideally situated to enjoy other nearby coastal villages and beaches. A perfect stay for us!
A spacious house with good size rooms. Very nice kitchen with an abundance of mugs but a lack of kitchen knivesbread knife etc. so it's difficult if you want toast or sandwiches with 'proper' bread! The proximity to Adnams' shop right next door which you cannot see from the photo occasions a stream of early morning delivery vans slamming doors etc and also the front door of the house is loose in its frame and rattles loudly when the wind blows.
