Had a great stay had a few minor issues which the owner dealt with straight away. Great location superb facilities and an owner that goes the extra mile.

We had a lovely week in Sandcastles. Beautiful view over the sea with a short walk to the centre of town and the railway station. Ideally placed for holidays.

What a lovely appsrtment. Really clean, comforatble with lovely decor. The bay window overlooking the sanddunes towards to sea was amazing. We sat there every evening to watch the sun go down. It was so relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the apartment, location fantastic. View from the lounge window amazing. Bed very comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely book again.

A lovely frontline apartment! The view was amazing and the beds are extremely comfy The kitchen had everything you needed, although maybe a kitchen spray would have been handy to keep on top of the work tops. No problem though as we just brought some as didn't wan to leave it a mess. Have already booked for next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandcastles, a Skyes Cottages rental in Barmouth. The location is unbeatableright on the seafront with absolutely breathtaking views across the bay. Waking up to that scenery each day was a real highlight. The property itself was spotless, with superb cleanliness throughout and excellent facilities that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Everything was clearly well thought out and maintained to a very high standard. This place is a real gem of a find, and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. Well definitely be returning!

What a fantastic apartment in an amazing location. Spotlessly clean, great space and well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are both lovely, comfortable beds and lots of storage. The bathrooms were perfect and so clean. I go to the Barmouth area a lot, love the beaches and the hills for walking with my dog. I took my 88 year old Mum this time. She was so happy sitting by the bay window watching the world go by. The lift made this possible. My dog loved the proximity to the beach and will now sleep for a week. Communication from Sykes and the owners was excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

This apartment met our needs completely. The owners were so helpful and supportive. My son uses a wheelchair and to have a lift from the ground floor opening right up inside the apartment was amazing. I always worry about cleanliness but the apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We definitely will book again as soon as were able.

We had an amazing time, the property was in the ideal location with everything in the apartment you could need, we are looking to book again for February.

Just got home from a fabulous FriMon stay, Sandcastles is in perfect location tight opposite the sand dunes and has large bay windows that we enjoyed sitting in watching the sea and the world go by. ..loved the lift that took us straight to pur apartment, perfect for our heavy bags and for anyone who would struggle woth stairs. The two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms perfect too and very comfy beds...we enjoyed walking along tbe beach and up the little ally ways to the top of the mountain..we will be back

We had a lovely stay at sandcastles. Particularly enjoyed watching the sunset, seeing the ocean every day. All amenities close by. Shops.cafes.pubs ,train station. The apartment was cosy and modern and the sun shone all week.

I think the emergency exit in one of the bedrooms should be mentioned in the listing. Also maybe a bit more attention to the cleaning. There was no bin liner in the kitchen bin, which also smelt. Apart from that it was a lovely comfortable apartment, fantastic view, great location. It's a shame the weather wasn't kinder to us but lovely to sit in the bay window and watch the world go by.

The accommodation was lovely and clean and was spacious. The large windows gave a lovely view over the seafront a real sea view! The beds were very comfortable. Sandcastles is placed very conveniently for the CoOp, the rail station and the bus stop and there was no noise at night. .

Sandcastles was a perfect apartment for me and my son. Both bedrooms were quite large and each has its own sizeable ensuite . The Beds were very comfortable . Although there are ample cooking facilities we didnt use any as we always eat out when on Holliday. We had a slight problem when we arrived but James sorted it out very quickly and couldnt apologise enough. He later phoned to check everything was ok which was nice We loved the fact that there was a lift as we were on the 2nd floor which opened into the apartment and due to the clever lift controls it only stopped on our floor if you have the correct key code. Its situated close to the town but far enough away that it was very quiet. Overall if we were in Barmouth again we would definitely try to book it again

We had a great stay at Sandcastles, it's a wonderful apartment in a wonderful spot. The sunsets over the sea through the large window were unforgetable.

Lovely spacious apartment, very clean with all amenities provided. Very comfortable mattress. Just across road from sand dunes to walk dog. Easy to come and go from the apartment and transport luggage thanks to the lift. Amazing views you don't see at ground level. Would recommend this apartment.
