Excellent accomodation for a group of mountain bike riders. Property was ready early, was clean and tidy. Excellent location right on the canal.

Location was perfect for us. Kitchen well stocked. Ample parking. The only gripes we had are two missing kitchen stools so we had to get chairs from the bedrooms. The large sofa has missing back cushions and there were only two scatter cushions which didnt help. One of the bedroom chairs needs the legs tightening. The cupboard door on the landing continously banged with the wind. The downstairs bedroom has the outside door which has a huge draft whistling through, and you can see outside through the wooden slats. The four bed shower was a dribble. Overall, it was very very good value and we had a great time.
This was our second visit to the Bike Shed and again we had a great time. We were able to book a canal boat at a reduced price as we were staying here and took advantage of this. The Bike Shed is in an ideal location for scenic walks and also for walking into the village to make use of the coffee shops and restaurants. The accommodation itself is spacious and ideally suited for families with a bathroom for every bedroom. Our only criticism would be that the television was small and poor quality picture and the WiFi was intermittent.

This house was an amazing find and perfect for our needs. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The large living area was great for getting together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the only negative was there was only 8 forks! Plenty of every other utensil but we had to time share on forks! Annoying but obviously didnt spoil our stay. Beds are comfy, plenty of bathrooms, dog friendly and clean. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at The Bike Shed, A great venue for large families. Well equipped, apart from the TV which has a very small screen considering the size of the room. We would recommend hiring the canal boat for the day, it made our break. We will return.

A fabulous place to stay, the property is spacious in a beautiful setting, with all major attractions and hiking nearby. The only downside is the fridge is too small for a 10 person property

Lovely, spacious, clean holiday cottage with a picturesque canal next to it. Fantastic views over Derbyshire's beautiful hills from some of the rooms. It was comfortable with good beds. The lounge area had a range of seating catering for all ages and tastes. The younger ones loved the big sofa! The staff member in the reception office was extraordinarily helpful. Ideal for our group of 10 people, and no question, we would definitely want to stay here again. Thank you.

The accomodation was fantastic, perfect for a group of lads for a biking trip. Everything was clean and tidy. A fantastic location, right on the canal, so easy access to loads of rides. Plenty of parking, and the staff were very helpful.

We stayed here for our Mindfulness Retreat 'there was 9 of us . We absolutely loved it . Plenty of room. Very comfortable. Everything You Need in the kitchen . Plenty of seating . Log fire was a treat. The walks are amazing. Staff very helpful . The photos do not do this accommodation justice. We that pleased that we have booked again for this coming July for our next retreat. Couldnt fault it perfect for our group trip away. New Mills also has a lot to offer, with places to eatdrink nearby, as well as the Peak District.

The photos do not do this place any justice, the Bile Shed is very spacious and provided the perfect base for us. The rustic decor is favourite for me Catering equipment and kitchen was very good and catered for us all. Nice long dining table allowed us all to be together for meals and evenings for games. Lounge area in the open plan area was good, weather too warm for us to use the log burner which was provided with adequate wood and kindling. Outside balcony with view tops it all off! With 4 toiletsshower rooms, this meant no waiting and showers were lovely, just what the body needs have a long day walk, climb, hike, Overall, very impressed, would not hesitate to stay here again. Only minor improvements I can suggest from our party Bigger TV screen, wifi drops out regularly the kids, New non stick pan the cooks More pillows on the settee the women. I thought it was pretty much perfect for me.

The Bike Shed was a great property to enable a gettogether of old university walking club friends. Well located, clean and comfortable with a kitchen that was more than adequately kitted out everyone was very happy with the accommodation.
Holiday for the whole family, half from New Zealand. It was a great holiday with loads to do and self catering facilities were excellent. Would recommend the property to anyone. Staff went above and beyond to help with any requests.

The property was immaculate and had all of the amenities we needed. We stayed for a Christmas themed weekend and the kitchen was easily equipped to make a roast for 10 people! The staff were exceptional and made the experience more magical, she turned the heating on for our arrival and was always so jovial when we saw her around, it was a pleasure to meet her and stay in this beautiful place. We're already talking about booking for next year!
