Lovely property, very comfortable & clean. Great welcome pack provided but could have done with some cleaning products. No bin liners provided which was annoying & no basics such as salt & pepper which is unusual for a holiday let. Hearing was set to 23 degrees & kept coming on at night & unfortunately there were no instructions so ended up turning it off as it was.a warm week. Low score was based on the service provided by Sykes not the owners.

What a lovely place. Everything you need is there, even tea bags! Basket of goodies on arrival. Warm n cosy, central heating on regularly if required, lashings of hot water. Clean, spacious, well equipped beautifully decorated. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful property. It is by far the nicest we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. The heating was already on when we arrived so the house was lovely and warm. There was a welcome pack with wine chocolates and crisps, which was lovely. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has all the extra touches that make it feel like home. The appliances are of a high quality too, a lot of care has gone into this property to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. There are a variety of shops just at the top of the road and the beach just a short walk away. Ideal location to explore Scarborough. Communication from the owner was easy and efficient. Highly recommended.

A lovely well cared for family holiday home. Plenty of space and everything comfortable. Situated perfectly for exploring Scarborough on foot. Railway station, buses, town centre and the beach just a ten minute walk . House set in a quiet avenue with plenty of parking and we appreciated the hosts leaving parking permits for the duration of our stay. Will definitely return.

So everything was amazing although we read the guest book and it stated NO ... So everything was amazing although we read the guest book and it stated NO dogs upstairs which was a disappointment as our 2 dogs sleep upstairs therefore my husband slept downstairs 3nights out of respect to the owners as the house was beautiful this should be highlighted prior to booking conditions The heating could have Been warmer but luckily it was not winter all in all 810 we had a great stay

Incredible stay, beautiful home! A lot bigger than I expected, I stayed alone with my dog and felt very safe and comfortable. The decor is lovely! Welcome pack and permits were a great touch! I will 100 book again.

Excellent holiday home. All really enjoyed. House was immaculate and perfect for our holiday We would love to return. We did think it was not suitable for under fives due to number of steps and outside back garden. This did not effect us as no children Would also have preferred two single beds rather than bunk bed and very large cot in third bedroom that restricted access to window

We had a great holiday at number 34 . The house was well based for accessing South cliff gardens and the town centre and town beach about a 10min walk Also a 5 minute walk up the hill takes you to a variety of shops and food outlets. The house was thoughtfully furnished and well equipped. The large fridgefreezer had lots of space for our Tesco delivery. We could have done with some more cupboard space to store our own food. The house was spotlessly clean except for some of the pans and cooking trays. Beds were really comfortable. The ensuite shower didnt drain well so we used the wet room shower which was a fantastic shower. We appreciated the parking permits and had no issue parking on the street. It was great to have the garden space and to be able to relax outside. It was also well enclosed for our dog. It was lovely to get a welcome pack of treats.

This house was very clean and welcoming. The front lobby had been freshly painted, we could still smell the fresh paint. The house was exceptionally clean. The welcome pack included, wine, crisps and chocolate. The lounge was large and great comfortable sofas. The kitchen was well provided for those who cook. Although one review said no oven gloves, there was a pair on the oven door handle. The chopping boards were beautiful, almost too good to use! The bedrooms were spacious and had lots of storage. The middle bedroom bed was comfy we did use the other beds.. The ensuite shower's seal needs replacing but was still usable. The wet room shower was perfect. The house is close to Ramshill Road, where there are lots of local facilities. The walk to beach is around 25 minutes but an easy walk. The only thing I would say to people booking, the steps at the front are steep the handrail is usefull but may be something to think about.

Thirty Four by the Sea is a beautiful property, beautifully furnished with everything you need, highly recommended.

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Nice welcome basket a few logs for the fire would have been welcome. Had a lovely cosy Christmas here the house was lovely and warm so the log burner isnt needed, but wanted to use as its so Christmasy. Highly recommended.

Hi... Lovely big town house location was Brill especially with are dog hence baileys great dog walk on your door step,shops,beach,pubs. House itself had everything only thing I missed was an oven gloves. Loved the style of the interior so much I have now changed my own x house was spotless lovely family home xx would stay again thank you xx

The property exceeded our expectations. The little extras were a nice surprise, thank you. I was a little wary as there were no reviews due to it being a new listing, but I would recommend the property as long as there are no mobility issues with anyone on the booking, it is a great find.
