Yew Tree Farm Stable Reviews

Charlotte
We had an absolutely fantastic time! David was a legend and looked after us so well. The place itself has so much character and charm, well thought out and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed and would go back in a heart beat.
Joanna
Lovely accommodation, perfect for us and our dog. We didnt use the outdoor tub as it was rather wet and cold weather but it did look inviting. Comfy large bed, plenty of space for clothesshoes etc. Bathroom very clean and well appointed. Everything was supplied plus some lovely welcome goodies which was a very nice touch. Plenty of local information and guides to explore the area we went to Sutton Hoo and Aldebury. You do need a car to travel round and go to any shopsrestaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay at Yew Tree Farm Stable. The place was very clean and comfortable. There was a secure garden for the dogs. The owner David was very nice and helpful and had some goodies for us on our arrival. Would definitely recommend the Stable if you are looking for a quiet and rural accommodation.

Lovely converted farm stable with all needed for a restful break in a nice quiet country area.

This is a great retreat for 2, secluded, quiet and private. The garden and patio, is perfect to sit and relax, plus if you have four legged fur babies, it is totally secure. The 'outdoor' bath is very relaxing, even when raining, as it is under cover, with soft lighting to relax for a soak at the end of day. There is also a large indoor walk in shower with great water pressure, an absolute must for a lovely shower, if the bath isn't your fancy. Although the location is secluded, there are numerous lovely walks from the cottage. With a great network of well signed footpaths that meander for miles in all directions in this lovely part of rural Suffolk. Travel is easy, as the roads are so quiet. Framlingham, along with its famous castle is only a short drive, as are the lovely town of Eye and the stunningly beautiful Helmingham Hall Gardens, along with its bespoke shops and lovely cafe. The nearby Victoria pub, along with friendly staff, is excellent for food and real ales it even has its own brewery. David, the very friendly owner, is discrete but there if needed we didn't but met him on our dog walks. We will certainly be making a return visit in the near future.
A lovely week in this delightful cottage, had everything needed and more. Everything of high standard including linen, towels and bathrobes for the wonderful outside bath. Very peaceful and comfortable. Owner very responsive if when needed.
Peace and tranquility. Music centre with quantity of cds an added bonus. Outside bath was the pices de resistance. A true gem of a place.

The property was very clean and tidy when we got there and it was very well equipped with equipment was all you needed lots of space very nice but stay there again and the owner was very friendly when I spoke to him. Im very forthcoming if I needed anything.
Lovely, clean property. Much more spacious than expected from the photos. The outside bath was a lovely bonus with the fairy lights. We were specifically looking for a detached property but the stable block is attached the barn so our dog was a little worried by the noises but it didnt affect our stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a stay in Suffolk.
We had an issue with the boiler. It got fixed same day. Property owner was very helpful.

Great hideaway, everything you need as a couple. Lovely location and easy to access some of Suffolk's little gems.
It was a very relaxing getaway over the Christmas period. Excellent amenities and, for a change!, a very good WiFi signal, which was immensely helpful when still trying to do some work. Happy to return in the future, which should indicate how much we enjoyed being here. Anyone wishing to stay should realise that it is a moderately remote area with nothing at all in the immediate vicinity. A petrol station was a good ten miles away, although the shops were a bit nearer I believe. There is no pub within walking distance. Only tea and coffee plus a bottle of Prosecco were available when we arrived. There was no cooking foil or any cooking oil available. For us, this was not a problem as we came fully equipped and brought everything we needed. This could have been down to the time of year, I don't know. However, anyone wishing to stay here should be aware that you should either make sure you have enough provisions or buy it locally or even get it delivered on arrival. This is an observational comment based on our experience at a quieter time of year. This is definitely a place to consider for the Summer as the surroundings are superb.
Perfect size for the two of us and our baby. Really good facilities and a nice cosy feel. Also loved the outdoor bath of course!
We had a wonderful relaxing time for my partners birthday. The hosts were very accommodating by the little extra touches such as a happy birthday banner on entrance of the property. Its was beautiful in every way. Thank you for having us and we certainly will be back. We have found our place to get away from life constrains. Thank you again
We are regular visitors to Yew Tree Stable as its a fantastic place to get away from the stresses of daily life. We love the updates that David and Kate have recently made, especially the bathtub under the canopy of twinkling lights. As well as visiting our usual haunts, Aldeburgh, Southwold and Snape Maltings, we had an amazing lunch at the Be Well Barn which is a ten minute car ride away. We were informed that you can hire a spa pod for an hour to enjoy a sauna and jacuzzi. We will definitely do that next time.
We had a lovely, peaceful stay. The outside bath is a real bonus. The flies were an issue difficult to keep outside
A lovely relaxing few days feel like we've been 'forest bathed'. Enjoyed walks at Ramsholt, Shingle Street, Snape & Orford. Can recommend the beer at The Victoria Earl Soham.
Thank you for both for a most wonderful stay. The outside bathtub was indeed a wonderful addition. Lovely dog walks on the doorstep and a good base to explore Suffolk. All the best.

This stable is very well maintained, equipped and very roomy David was a very pleasant owner and soon sorted out a very minor problem we had with one of the blinds in our bedroom Thank you for letting us use your property
What a twinkling, romantic area you have created outside this super clean stable. A good week. Thank You.

Lovely cottage, especially if you want a quiet holiday. Everything we needed, including an enclosed garden for our dog. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the weather was kind.
Spacious and nicely furnished. Great to have a well equipped kitchen. Lovely modern shower room. Very comfortable bed. A small television in the bedroom would be a nice addition. Enclosed private garden a nice bonus especially as we holiday with our dog.
My daughter and I had a lovely few days staying at the Stable. It is just perfect, lovely enclosed garden for the dogs, everything you could need or want in the house. All spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, we would definitely return. The owners are very friendly and approachable and went out of their way to make our stay perfect
Truly a hidden gem, a little bit of paradise in the Suffolk countryside and a wonderful escape from the stress of normal life. We have been returning to the stable over the last few years and each time we cant get over how lovely it is. David and Kate have made a few changes that had made it even better. The Stable is within easy reach to Framingham, with its quirky shops and of course the Castle on the hill. Southwold and Aldeburgh are an hour away, both are dog friendly and weve had some great days there. We cant wait to come back.
