We had a wonderful time in your delightful cottage. Chris was very helpful and friendly with suggestions on where to take grandchildren. Lovely lemon drizzle cake thank you. The cottage had everything one could want for a large family gathering. Stunning views and jacuzzi was a hit with all. Great dinning table with log burner for atmospheric night time board games. A rare treat for our spaniel was a large beautiful enclosed garden for him to explore. Would love to stay again xx

We had a great holiday. Nine adults aged twenty to sixty, plus three pets. The house is big probably bigger than it looks on the website. It is wonderfully eccentric with each room having an individual character. The kitchen gets you fit the sink is a long way from the cooker. The surroundings are beautiful, although it is a shame jets fly over a couple of times a day a big shock the first time it happened. Wonderful walks nearby, particularly the Torrent Walk which is only ten minutes drive.

We have just had the best stay at Ysgubor. We were a large group of three generations 6 adults, 5 kids, 3 dogs. The house was perfect for our needs. It is lovely and spacious so everyone could find space if needed, but also communal areas were plenty big enough to enjoy each other's company too. The kids loved the hot tub, as well as exploring the areas around the house. Many games of hide and seek were had! The house is well equipped unusually so for a holiday cottage and so we were able to do lots of cooking for us all which was great. We found the cottage easy to find, especially when using what3words. The house is quite isolated, which was a plus for us, we never had to worry about the kids making a noise, or where they were off adventuring! Also, the cottage is on an RAF flight path, called the Mach loop. This was definitely a highlight for us. At times it felt like you could see the underneath of the jets, incredible! The lemon drizzle cake and dog treats were a lovely touch, all in all we felt so welcome. We have already said how we would definitely be back as there's so much more we want to do in Southern Snowdonia. Thank you!!!

The listing said towels were provided so we didnt take any, luckily the Georgia sent towels round apologetically, which we were very thankful for, as it was an error on the Sykes site, owners had told Sykes towels were no longer provided but website not updated. Catastrophy averted but couldve been a huge problem being a group of 9. Lovely house with everything else we could need, the children would entertain themselves playing hide and seek it was that large. Wood burners were lovely and the huge dining table seated everyone and was lovely to sit all together whilst the fire was on and eat together. Everyone loved the hot tub especially the children and it was never any trouble to get it topped up when the children were splashing water everywhere. Short drives to Bala and Barmouth and the town of Dolgellau, which was very pretty and quaint with an array of shops and pubs. The fish and chip shop there is great, the fish was amazing.
