Sandbanks, Praa Sands

Wonderful accomodation. We've already rebooked it for next year! Right by the lovely beach. Sauna, hot tub, plenty of living space for the eight of us. Would definitely recommend this one!

The house was beautiful. In a fantastic location. The sauna and hot tub, were a real treat, especially when the weather wasn't so good. Well equipped kitchen.

Sandbanks is a delightful property with our favourite beach so very close. The managers of rhe property were always responsive and the cleanliness faultless. A guide on the missing lines on the digital display on the oven would have been helpful as it took a while to work out. We could have had better information when requested about the bedroomsbathrooms before our arrival as this was important to us having someone with specific mobility issues. Otherwise it would be 5 stars all round. All perfect locally but a couple of issues with Sykes in general which have nothing to do with this beautiful property. Sadly just significantly poor communications with head office regarding bookings and prearrival questions shockingly answered completely incorrectly. We have booked Sandbanks for next year and hope that any changes to the property will actually be communicated to us, when we ask, before we arrive.

A wonderful place for our family to meet up and celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary! We loved the location and the housecomfortable, clean and cosy. A perfect place for 3 generations to hang out together. Lovely touches with the welcome hamperthank you! The sauna and hot tub were a great success and the beach on our doorstep was fabulous! We will certainly be back again. The best holiday we have had together in the best place! Helen

This holiday home was absolutely incredible! Such a beautiful stay with family, stones throw away from the beach, clean, comfortable and everything you could need! Housekeeper was extremely helpful and on hand when we needed her! If I had to offer one tiny bit of advice for the future, it would be the beautiful lounge on the second floor could maybe do with another sofa in there, to accommodate the 10 guests to sit together, we found it was a bit squish to seat us together in the evening! But overall fantastic and would 100 return in a heartbeat.

This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults & 4 children under 10. It is 5 minutes walk to our favourite Cornish beach which was great especially for the children. The hot tub was a great addition which we made good use of but we never got round to trying out the sauna. We used the gas bbq a couple of times too. The house was spotlessly clean & the housekeeper was very helpful in keeping us updated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spread out enough for us all to have a private quiet space. However the mattresses on the twin beds werent the most comfortable. The location is great for visiting Porthleven, Marazion, Penzance and St Ives.

The house was great. We had 8 adults, Praa sands was amazing the beach and the bar at the beach brilliant. Only one minor thing was the bedrooms on mid level had zip and lock superkingssingles the springs made awful noises as you turned over and the length of the bed was short,my husband is 6ft 3 and he was to tall for the beds. But the house had everything we needed and loved the sound of the sea sat on the balcony so thank you sandbanks

This was the second time of visiting Sandbanks with my two sons and grandchildren. We all enjoyed everything especially the hot tub and sauna. We would all recommend it for a great holiday. Very clean and everything you would want for a fabulous holiday. Plenty of places to eat and visit.

Parts of the property are in need of some TLC ie paintwork in bedrooms and hallway. A gate for the steps next to the hot tub to stop kids and dogs escaping. A stairgate. One set of patio doors in kitchen area would not open. However its still a lovely property and ideally situated.

Great property in the perfect location, we had a wonderful holiday. I would recommend a gate for the driveway as the front garden space is difficult to use with a dog or young children. Also the water pressure in the shower for the master bedroom en suite is too low. Minor details because everything else was perfect. Would love to have booked again next year but booked already.

The house was brilliant! The owners have obviously thought of everything we wanted for nothing! Can't recommend it enough thank you for a great holiday.

Wonderful place to stay, in a super location. Ideal for what we needed. The house was fully equipped for our stay, sauna and hot tub were particularly welcome. Lovely welcome basket was so appreciated. Even with 8 adults and 4 kids the big open rooms and spaces still gave us our own space and not feeling on top of each other. Big open rooms and spaces

Would love to have had use of the barbecue, did not know it wasn't available 9 months of the year. Extremely clean and lots of thoughtful touches. Really beautiful property and attentive management

Beautiful house and perfect location to walk to the beach. Close to the restaurant and beachside bar as well. Hot tub and sauna were fantastic addition to the house.

Sandbanks is an amazing house. We didn't want to leave. Kids loved the hot tub and the games cupboard. House was spotlessly clean. Everything you could need and wish for in a perfect holiday home. We usually stay at St. Ives but will definitely return to Sandbanks. Thanks again The Clark's

Property is perfect, comfortable and in a superb location. We were not very lucky with the weather but still had a great time with our dog. Lovely family break.

We had the most amazing time! We were six family members plus a toddler and a dog. We were blessed with wonderful weather and made full use of the garden including BBQ and a brand new pizza oven. I contacted the owner prior to our visit as my husband has recently developed osteoarthritis and needed an extra stair rail on the main stairs and he was wonderfully understanding . He duly fitted an extra rail and we can't thank him enough! So kind.

Lovely property in a stunning location. We were a party of 10 6 adults and 4 children and the twin bedded rooms on the middle floor worked perfectly for the little ones with their parents safely tucked away downstairs and grandparents in the 1st floor feature main bedroom We used hot tub, sauna and barbecue on a number of occasions particularly after a long day on the beach when the kids were bit chilly after many hours body boarding. House was well equipped throughout with coffee and ice machine 2 fridge freezers to cater for the chilled drinks! Everything clean, well maintained and finished to a high standard. Sandbanks proved very spacious for our group of 9! Pleasently surprised at the huge 1st floor lounge with sea views. The hot tub was most welcome after a day out. We didn't manage to try out the sauna, next time? Great location for exploring Cornwall's coastline.

We were a party of 7 & 2 year old grandson & 2 dogs, The house was perfect for us all, large garden, large living spaces. Everything was there including an ice maker Everyone loved the beach too, & peaceful just what we wanted xx

A fantastic place to stay. We stayed for Christmas and loved the Christmas decorations and presents left, that was a great touch. Great location also.

Proper outside lights for back garden child gate would be useful considering number of stairs. Hairdryer would be a useful addition Maybe a small fence to provide more privacy whilst using hot tub as users can be seen by pedestrians and bus passengers.

We had a fantastic week at Sandbanks. We were a group of 6 adults 3 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all. The 2 fridge freezers was a great idea as we'd have struggled to fit everything in the one with the beer and prosecco we needed to keep cool! The ice machine was a nice surprise! The house was spotless when we arrived thank you Kirsty and there was plenty of cleaning productsequipment to keep it that way. The hot tub was used everyday by us all and was greatly appreciated after days out to Penzance, Newquay, St Ives, Minack Theatre, Truro, Mousehole, Porthleven, Hayle etc. The house was perfectly situated by the beach and for sightseeing too. The only little quibble I had was that there was no shower gels or shampoos in the bathrooms, only liquid hand gels. This wasn't a problem for us as we had our own but some people may expect it to be there. All in all we had a fabulous time at Sandbanks and loved Cornwall. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay. Only downfall was the restricted access to dogs on the beach most annoying and affected us greatly. However, Sandbanks was truly lovely no complaints at all. Good location for access to many other places. We appreciated the smart TV although you can't get live on iTV hub.

The house is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The housekeeper was very good letting us know that we could get into the house early and giving us information. Our only observation is that there are not enough chairs for a large family to all sit together comfortably. There were seven of us staying and it was fine, but in the living room it would be nice to have some more chairs so we aren't all sat in a row. Also some instructions for the TV, none of us have Sky so we never really worked out how to watch the TV properly. We would recommend the house to others, the hot tub was very nice to have as an extra facility.

This fabulous house fitted our multi family party perfectly. We were 8 adults 1 child 1 baby and 2 dogs. All the bedrooms were bright, clean, modern, and there were enough bathrooms. We enjoyed using all the living areas again clean, bright and comfortable. The hot tub proved popular with everyone even when the weather was dubious. The location of the house was ideal for exploring the Penzance area and just across the road was the beach and some lovely dog walking.
