Absolutely amazing time, will definitely be visiting again. Beautiful scenery and extremely comfortable accommodation, with hot tub as an added bonus! Immaculately clean, comfortable beds and property done to very high standard. Our dogs throughly enjoyed running around the garden and watching the goats! Thank you for a fantastic stay
This was a lovely property, well presented and quiet in lovely surroundings. When we had an electrical outage and the dishwasher broke they came within the hour to help. The hot tub was excellent and we loved the peacocks and goats on the property. It would be even better if there was another form of seating as 4 adults, it was difficult to get comfy as we only had one seat each no one could stretch out in any way, prehaps a small 2 seater added. It would be great also if we had a lock on the bathroom door and 4 high tumbler glasses only 1
Lovely accommodation and great that it's all on one level. Hot tub with powerful jets in a nice enclosed area. Wonderful, well cared for, pet goats and peacocks. Owners are easily contactable and deal with any problems efficiently and kindly. Beautiful views in a prestigious, quiet area. Singletrack roads to property can be confusing and hazardous. Wooden gate on entry is difficult to manoeuvre if alone. A hand rail on the stairs would be ideal. Overall, a very clean, well presented and happy pet property, even for our little cat. Definitely recommend.

Lovely location. Great to have access to an EV charger. The steep stairs would be safer with a handrail. Instructions for the dishwasher would have been useful.

The property was bright , clean and welcoming . We had to cut our stay short due to a family problem back home . We ring a number given to us on email to put a baby gate up at the top of the stairs and he came over straight away . Please be aware that the accommodation has an open stairway so if u have a puppy like us or a toddler you will need the stairgate in place . The hottub was lovely , sitting there watching the peacocks and goats was so relaxing . Please be aware if you have small dogs or a small puppy there are some areas where they can escape the garden , luckily we brought a playpen for our puppy. The beds were lovely and comfy and found the kitchen well stocked with all you will need for your stay . We really hope to back . Thank you for letting us stay here . Only down side for us was having no lock on bathroom door . Lovely place , very welcoming clean and comfortable .

Gatekeepers cottage was a perfect holiday base for us. Lots to do and explore. The goats and peacocks added an extra something to the beautiful views. Everything in the property was lovely, good hot shower, comfy beds, warm living area. Great hot tub. Ev charging a nice bonus. Only comments would be the kitchen lacked a few basic items no grill tray, no ovenproof dishes, not all pans worked on the induction hob. Had to buy a potato masher, bread knife and cafetire..which we left for future visitors.
The property was fantastic and we would highly recommend it. We had a 3 month gap during a house sale and purchase so required accommodation. Whilst we did stay at other properties we found the location, setting, privacy and property quality drew us back several times.
This was our first Christmas away and we was very anxious, however this was a home away from home. It was so quiet and peaceful, the hot tub was amazing in the dark looking at the stars and the garden was lovely and secure so we didnt have to worry about the dogs being out there. It was all so modern and can honestly say I couldnt fault anything about this home thank you again
Absolutely Fantastic! Loved staying here so much we extended our stay.

We stayed at Gatekeepers Cottage for one week and loved the area and surroundings. Although first impressions of the cottage were not good toilet seat on arrival was completely loose and ill fitting, had to allow a couple of minutes each time we used it to get it in a position to sit on it. Also hob did not work properly, very frustrating at meal times, we gave up! Also no live TV! Apart from this all good. On a plus the beds were fantastic, very comfortable and loved the peacocks and goats. Just need to keep up with maintenance issues when they occur would be my advice as not great for the next visitors to walk into.
Beautiful accomadation, it has everything you need perfect location to visit north wales. The hot tub was amazing after a walk in the mountains
Property was as described, although we struggled to locate as hidden from road behind electronic gate. No gate code given with arrival information. The drive up to it was a bit hairy but we got used to it. Great location for visiting surrounding area though as once down the hill youre on the main trunk road straight away. Living and sleeping space all on one level upstairs above triple garage, strange smell as you enter property but disappeared as you went upstairs. As a family of four, stopping for 7 nights we struggled with cooking meals some nights due to lack of equipment no wok, microwaveable bowls etc this could easily be rectified. Also struggled with the hob it kept pulsing dont know if this is normal for an induction hob? It was brand new as we had to take the label off to cook on it! Maybe a user manual would be helpful? Freezer was very frosted up struggled to open a couple of drawers. Towels were very small! Toilet seat didnt fit the toilet and there were some areas in bathroom that werent as clean as we would have expected eg. dust falling from extractor, masking tape round towel rail, edge of bath panel not clean. We were told there would be a gas bbq but couldnt locate one, bought disposable one instead as kids were looking forward to it. It would be nice to have some more thought given to outside area as the next door property has a whole host of outdoor provisions. We were the first people to stay in the property and took a risk booking it as there were no photos available at the time. The property is as pictured but its just the finer points that need to be looked at. All in all a good stay, just hope that these smaller items can be rectified for future visitors. We loved our week in North Wales and will definitely visit again as soon as much to see and do.
